Dana Eleftheriadou deals with public policies for the promotion of ICT-enabled innovations among European enterprises, as an official in the Enterprise and Industry Directorate General of the European Commission.
She is the EU coordinator of the European eBusiness Support Network for SMEs, a network of policy makers and experts on public policies supporting innovation through ICT and eBusiness.

The goal of the eBSN is to improve the effectiveness of public SME policies by coordinating national policies and programmes. It brings together over 200 decision makers all over Europe, in the field of eBusiness, to share experiences and to discuss strategic policy direction.

Previous positions included engaging in the EU-US dialogue on eCommerce, dealing with various eBusiness issues, including sectoral impact of eBusiness, targeted awareness activities on eBusiness, the promotion of eBusiness among SMEs, benchmarking eBusiness policies and the liaison with industry and international fora.
